Hello! So.... Planetary dominance.... I am so confused! I have searched the internet, each claiming something different (ex. Your ascendant is Pisces, so it must be Neptune or your sun is cancer, so it must be the moon) Could someone please answer me because I am so confused/curious and it is really bothering me!

Good question! There are three answers.
The Lord of the Figure This is the planet that rules the sign that is on the ascendant for the time the chart is cast.
The Almuten This is the planet that is most dignified when only the Essential Dignities and Debilities are considered.
The Lord of the Geniture This is the planet that is most dignified when both the Essential and Accidental Dignities and Debilities are considered.
Here's stuff I have in my "book" about it: Here's a little guide to calculate it yourself:

Calli - Damn, do I wanna read your book. And that calculator thing looks very interesting. I'm going to have to try that one! PS - What does "mutual reception" mean? @mattie - If you want something really fast and easy to figure out your "dominant" planet/sign/element/mode, just go to astro.com, go to page 2 on the selections on the home page, and click "Extended Chart Selection." Then enter your data. Once you get to the chart selection page, click the "Pullen/Astrolog" tab, and select "Simple chart delineation by Walter Pullen." If you scroll down to about the middle of the page, you will see a list of the planets, signs, elements, and modes, with percentages and rankings of how influential they are in your chart. Buuut there are many different ways to decide what your "dominant" planet/sign is; there are lots of different tests and calculators made to determine it. Calli's right up there is definitely one of the most detailed ones I've seen. This is another good one that I've used, but it just does signs, not planets or anything else. There's a whole series of "planetary tests" here, where you can find your "score" for each planet in your chart and compare them to find which one is most influential. So, basically, there are lots of answers to this question!

PS - What does "mutual reception" mean? Mutual reception is like - Moon in Aquarius, Uranus in Cancer. Two planets in each others' domicile. (Also, would you really want to read it? O.O)

And yes, I would really want to read it! Are you actually planning on publishing it at some point? Because that would be wicked cool.

I may split it up, into separate sections too. I'm not sure if I'ma self-publish or try to actually have it published.

I thought Virgo was exalted in Mercury and Pisces was in fall? o: , or am I going crazy? xD
I've always wondered about mutual reception and how it affects me xD. My Moon is in Aries and my Mars is in Cancer, but I've seen that this is a weaker mutual reception for some reason? o:

I thought Virgo was exalted in Mercury and Pisces was in fall? o: , or am I going crazy? xD Technically, and traditionally speaking, Mercury is in Domicile in Gemini in a Diurnal Chart, and Domicile in Virgo in a Nocturnal Chart, because of it's dual rulership over the two Signs. All Planets (except the Sun and Moon) had a Day Time Ruler and a Night Time Ruler. This is mostly lost in modern Astrology, since adding in Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto threw off the balance a bit, and people are trying to find a singular ruler for all the planets. I've always wondered about mutual reception and how it affects me xD. My Moon is in Aries and my Mars is in Cancer, but I've seen that this is a weaker mutual reception for some reason? o: That is very strange! That definitely is a Mutual Reception, but I have no idea why it would be considered lesser - except for maybe because Mars is in Fall?
