I have a new theory on Venus.
So I was looking at astro GIF sets today and thinking again about how Scorpio imagery just doesn't appeal to me at all... despite the fact that it's my sun sign, and I think it fits my personality well. I realized how the sort of "aesthetic" that appeals to me most is Cancer, and I was wondering why that is. Then I thought maybe the fact that my Venus is in the fourth house could explain it. And I was thinking, maybe what house your Venus is in is what you find to be beautiful. But I don't know if this applies to anyone else, or if it's just a "me" thing.
What do you guys think?

That's actually a big part of Venus that often gets overlooked. She was the Goddess of beauty, in addition to being the goddess of love!

I think of Venus as representing love (whether romantic, friendships or familiar), beauty...Though I thought of it less as what is beautiful in the physical/tangible world...but I suppose that is part of it as well. I thought of it as what you find beautiful conceptually. For example, Someone may think the sky is aesthetically beautiful, but someone else may find beauty in the vastness of it and the symbolism that the vastness of the sky represents. If I'm making any sense. Also I think of Venus as what gives you pleasure/comfort maybe even peace of mind. It had not occurred to me that imagery associated with your Venus sign would be appealing to you personally, though it makes sense. My Venus is in the 8th house and I do like quite a bit of what some may call Scorpio imagery, I like the Deep Red & black colors, dark imagery & themes sometimes things people may call macabre even.

Venus in the 10th house in Aries here! I find myself putting a lot into work, and working is like my passion! I work as much as I can to take care of my family and other people (10th house in Pisces, remember), and I sometimes forget to do mundane things like eating, sleeping, ect. when working ahaha. bl0gger, Venus in Aries is (to me) a wonderful position. I used to hate my Venus in Aries until I got into a serious relationship. I actually really like where my Venus is situated, although some of the aspects could be better?? I haven't checked those out lately, sorry. : >

Nice series, I'm following them all! My venus is in the 11th house so Aquarius should be the most appealing to me. And yes they really appeal to me more than Aries! But oh myy Scorpio is really appealing to me Actually gives me tingles.. Maybe it has something to do with the fact hat pluto is my strongest planet and scorpio my second strongest sign. (1st: capricorn) The earth sign imagery appeals to me least, funny enough I am really liking the water signs.

I really liked the Cancer and Scorpio imagery and was actually turned off by Aries! Lol. And here I am an Arian! But my Moon is in the 4th house and Scorpio is my Descendant so I guess that makes sense. My Sun is also intercepted by Pisces and is in the 12th house so maybe that's why I liked the water imagery. But the ironic thing is that I have like zero water signs in my chart! Very interesting. Yeah, I think the descendant does also have something to do with imagery we find "appealing" - after all, it's the seventh house cusp; Venus rules the seventh house. (I also find Pisces imagery quite appealing, and I have a Pisces DC.) Definitely would explain why you enjoy the Scorpio imagery.

Selene Yeah, the Descendent is similar to how Venus and Mars operates in what we view as attractive I think. I found this explaining it further: It's funny how in psychology its proven that opposites don't attract, that we need more similarities than differences to be attracted to someone but I do think that the signs on the Descendant do have some qualities similar to the Ascendant. We also have Venus and Mars so if we don't like what's on our DC, we might like the attributes of the signs that are Venus and Mars are in. I can say that is true for me too, along with the type of elements I don't want to own/find annoying!

Thank you girls for sharing! Ive read that scorpio can easily get in trouble with the law ( just like my ex boyfriend) they do have the potential to be really studious or really bad. I remember this www.astrologyjunction.com/ like had like 50 pages dedicated to horoscopes, but again do you guys know what signs are compatible for aquarius? (don't wanna ask this i thread since it isnt a very big question.

Venus is the second planet from the sun.My venus is in Pisces.Pisces Venus wants their partner to know that they love unconditionally. They don't care about status;they just care about what is inside.Astrologer Vinayak Bhatt told me about my venus that the person with venus in Pisces likes romance and tenderness. They are not the most reliable but remember that if they stretch the truth a bit,it is usually because they are afraid to cause you hurt.
