While a Natal Chart sort of shows us the "blank slate" we are born with, or traits we are most likely to develop throughout our life, a Progressed Chart show how that evolves. It's more predictive, than genethliacal, in that sense, though I think it's more of a cross between the two.
There are two methods (that I've found so far): 1. Add one day for each year alive. So, someone born June 2, 1991 would progress their chart for this year by 23 days - which would be June 25th, 1991 (same time and location). 2. Add one degree to each planet for each year alive. Since the sun moves (roughly) one degree each day, it would have the same effects on the sun as what's listed above, while also nudging each planet forwards one babystep.
I use the first method mostly, but I'm still researching into other methods.

Presuming we want to see the evolution in the ascendant, midheaven and the rest of the houses?

They do progress through the signs, with the rest of the planets.

Fabulous! Well, I have now done it and I'll still a Pisces in my 'evolved' chart so that makes things less complicated lol

What I think it super interesting, is that humans usually live to, like, 90, right? Which means our Sun progresses ~90 degrees. Which means it travels through three signs. Maybe our lives (if you believe in reincarnations) is a constant progression through the Signs. So if you're born 4 degrees Virgo, you died when your Sun had progressed to 3 degrees Cancer. And you can back-track 90 degrees, and assume you may had been born 4 degrees Gemini. Of course, this does account for super long lives, or tragically young deaths.. but it gets my mind going all crazy.

And how do you interpret it? It fuses with your natal chart? Which defines you more?

It's not like more or less. The Natal Chart depicts the essence of the universe as you were born - the traits you carry throughout your life. The Progressed chart is how those traits are likely to unfold. Neither is less important, just imply different parts of us.

Thank you, it's so much easier to understand it. BTW, it's an interesting idea you had about the progressing Suns. It shows quite well, how people change with time.
